January is the month of a sweet girl named TATA – and in case you didn’t know it – she is our new mascot. Welcome to Cooka’s ‘mascoteers’ Tata. We are so excited to have you part of our pack and learn more about you!

Dear Tata, please tell us, are you named after someone special or doesyour name have a meaning?

I’m Tata, short name for Batata (potato in pt).. and you ask why right? My mommy wanted to have a lemon beagle called Batata, but in an apartment it’s an impossible mission! So, here I am! Tata, the princess Tata!

Do you know that you look like a movie star from a Disney film?

Yup!! I’m like Lady, from the Lady and the Tramp. We love Disney movies!

Tell us, when and where you were born.

I was born in Aveiro! My date of birth its special, I was born on 20.02.2020

Do you know your star-sign? And if yes, do you know what is the mostcharacteristic for this sign?

Yes I do! I’m Aquarius, I’m super enthusiastic with new stuffs and active! I’m super educated too! My symbol its water, that’s why I love being in the water.

Do you remember the moment when you met mommy for the very first time?

Yes! I had only 4 weeks old. Mommy and grandma came to see me and my paws family in Aveiro.

What was your first thought when you noticed that your new family does not have paws and does not bark?

Oh yeah, I’m the only bark voice in the house!!!

What is your favourite place at home? And which place you don’t likeat all?

My favorite place is where my mom is.. I like every places at home, but the bathroom is not my favorite, I don’t love showering at home.. but I know it’s necessary, mom explained to me!

Does mommy cook for you? If yes, is she a good cook? What is your favorite food?

Only when I’m sick and with vomits.. mommy makes chicken and boiled rice.

Your parents are hoomans, but if they would be doggies too, which breed would they be?

Cavs obviously

What is the thing you find most strange about hoomans?And what thing you like most?

They can’t play all day like me.. its super weird!! I really like they can drive cars, they can show me more places! I love to discover new places!

If you could take your pack on a holiday, where would you go? And if you only can pack 3 items in your doggie bag, what would those be?

To somewhere with beaches and warm water!! Oh.. on my doggie bag, I really need my ball, my cooka’s cookies fav and a bow to be super cute on vacations!

If you could be President of the world what 3 things would you change?

A world more pet friendly, more rights for everypawdy and abolish animals testing!

Do you think about becoming a mommy one day?

Yes! Maybe next year, let’s see if I can find a pawfect dad for my little paws!

You are our January doggy. Do you like Winter? If yes, what is your favourite thing about this season?

Yes I like! I love to be near the fire and sleeping under the blankets with mommy!!

Do you like wearing cloth when it’s cold outside?

Yup!! I’ve my own closet for some reason!!

Do you like getting wet in the rain?

I don’t like to do my walkies on rainy days.. its not funny…I don’t like my ears wet and dirty!

Do you get scared of anything?

I don’t like thunderstorms…

Do you like cats? If yes, do you know why cats and dogs always have fights?

Yes, I have two meows friends I really like to play with them 😊 I like cats in general, I just don’t like it when they run away from me.. then I go after them barking..

What is the most challenging part about being a doggie mom?

I like to do everything with Tata, so hardest part is not letting her in too many places.. Portugal its not pet friendly so much.

Is Tata your first child?

Tata is my baby girl, my first child

Does she sleep with you in the bed?

Yes!!!! Under the duvet

What is the one thing that makes you laugh the most about her character?

When she makes noises..to ask me for things. Tata is really smart!!

Did she ever break something or was very naughty?

Tata only destroyed one thing… one airpod.. she has a luxury taste.

Are you planning on having more ‘kids’?

Yes, maybe in two years, I would like to have a tricolor baby cav too.

If you could give advise to new dog parents, what would you tell them?

It’s a big responsibility to have a dog, be sure that you now the breed or you have conditions to have a dog.. they are not toys!

What do you consider the biggest reward about being a dog parent?

I think the best reward is receive her pureness, they can care of us, im sure!

How many nick-names does Tata have?

A Lot! Tata, Tatas, Tatissima, Amorzini, Morzini, Boneca, Batatinha,…
